Meet Coach Raymond, who brings energy, strategy, and a passion for The Beautiful Game to Gala FC’s 2015/16 Girls team. With a track record of developing players at the youth and high school levels, he believes in teamwork, smart decision-making, and doing things the right way—starting with himself.

A true student of soccer, he doesn’t just support teams—he studies soccer. From the Sounders to the US and Dutch national teams (thanks to his Dutch roots!), he loves how the sport unites people worldwide. His favorite player? Virgil van Dijk, a master of reading the game and leading from the back.

He once made a bet with his JV team: win the season, score 15 goals, and get 5 shutouts—and he’d dye his hair red. They crushed it. He kept his word.

Rain or shine, Coach Raymond believes in leading by example: “A ball at your feet is all you need to get moving.” He’s excited to help his players grow, compete, and love the game at Gala FC!
